Can I keep my flag?
Unfortunately, we don’t provide flags for purchase. We strongly support you having your own flag flying throughout the year and will collect our flag at the end of the campaign so we can use them for future events and Pride seasons!!
What’s getting staked in my yard?
The Progress flag! We use a 3’x5’ Progress flag attached to a PVC pipe pole. A piece of rebar will be driven into your yard and used to hold up the flag! You can elect to have us stake the flag or leave the rebar and flag for you to place in your lawn.
How long will the flags be staked at my house?
For 2024, flags will be delivered starting May 28th by our wonderful volunteers. Flags will be collected starting July 1st. Let’s have flags on every street this Pride month!

What if I don’t Have a yard? (i.e., APartment living)
We need some form of outside space to stake your flag so we might not be the best fit. Flags come with a pole/stake and need to be accessible/collectible at the end of the campaign
I’m not in Des Moines, can I still get a flag?
We’d love to promise we can cover the full state of Iowa with Pride flags. However, we’re a small organization and based out of Des Moines. If you’re more than 100 miles outside of Polk County, send us a message with our Contact page to see if we’ll be able to deliver to your community!
The more sign-ups we have in community, the greater chance we’ll be able to coordinate delivery!
